Adding, Deleting, and Swapping an Embedded Image
This guide will show you how to add, delete, or even swap-out an embedded image in an email that has been sent as a Recallable Email Message.


Adding An Embedded Image


1. Add an embedded image to an email
Start a new message by clicking "Compose" on the top navigational bar.
Make sure you are in "HTML"* mode by clicking the button on the compose window. If you only see a button that says this means you are already in HTML mode.

*Some Mac browsers such as IE, Camino, and Safari will not be able to switch to HTML mode. For a more compatible browser try the Firefox browser from Mozilla. Get it here.


2. Insert an Image
Start your email. When you are ready to embed the image, click "Upload Photo " or the Picture Icon .


3. Browse to your image
Another window will pop up like the one below. Click "Browse" and find the image on your local hard disk. Once you have an image selected, click "Insert" at the bottom left corner of the image upload pop-up screen to finalize the image embedding.


4. View your image
If you have followed these steps, you will now see an image inserted into the body of the email.


Deleting An Embedded Image

1. Access The Controls
To access the controls and edit the message click on Edit Sent Mail on the toolbar.



2. Select the email you wish to edit
Click on the subject line of the email you wish to edit in the "Sent Recallable Email" mailbox.


3. Delete the embedded image from the email.
We need to delete the original image, since we accidentally sent the wrong one, or we no longer wish that email to have an embedded image.
In the body of the email, click on the image.



Now hit the "Delete" button on the keyboard to remove the image from your message.


4. Finalize your changes
Click to finalize the change to your message. Now when the recipient either opens the message for the first time, or re-opens the message, the image will be gone from the message.


Swapping An Embedded Image


1. Swapping in a new Image
There is nothing special about swapping in your new image if you have made it this far through the tutorial. Simply reproduce the steps for adding a new image after deleting your old one and click to finalize the change to your message.
