Question:

Why can't I connect to my Bigstring.com account with my mail client?

Answer:

There could be many reasons why this is not working:

1. You must be a Premium user to check your email with a mail client

2. You must enter your username as user@bigstring.com instead of just user

3. Some ISP's block access to outgoing mail server ports. To help our users we have allowed users to connect to a different port. This can be configured in your account options by changing port 25 to 3025 for your outgoing mail server.
